These Terms govern all interactions, quotations, orders, and installations completed by Bear Bro Carpentry LTD (trading as Bear Brothers Furniture).

“We”, “Us”, “Our” — Bear Bro Carpentry LTD (Bear Brothers Furniture).

“Client”, “You”, “Your” — The customer receiving our services.

“Services” — All bespoke furniture design, manufacturing, installation, and related carpentry work.

2. Services We Provide

Bear Brothers Furniture offers:

Bespoke kitchens

Fitted wardrobes

Loft angled furniture

Media walls

Under-stairs storage

Office furniture

Made-to-measure units

General custom carpentry

Commercial furniture solutions

All furniture is made-to-measure, customised per client request, and installed by our professional team.


3. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are free and valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Pricing may change if:

Measurements change

Additional work is requested

Unforeseen issues arise during installation

Quotes include labour, materials, and installation unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to adjust prices in line with market conditions (materials, suppliers, etc.).


4. Deposits & Payments

To secure your project and begin production:

A non-refundable deposit (usually 30–50%) is required.

The remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of installation.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or agreed payment methods.

Failure to pay may result in postponed work, withheld installation, or cancellation.


5. Project Scheduling

Installation dates are agreed with the client based on availability.

Dates may change due to manufacturing, material delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

We will update you promptly regarding any schedule changes.


6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate measurements (or request a site visit for confirmation).

Ensure access to the property on installation day.

Keep installation areas clear of furniture, obstacles, and hazards.

Notify us of any pipes, wires, utilities, or structural issues within walls or floors.

We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or inaccurate information.


7. Manufacturing & Installation

All furniture is:

Made to your exact specifications

Manufactured using high-quality materials

Installed by our professional team

During installation:

Minor dust or noise is expected—installation areas should be prepared in advance.

We take great care to minimise disruption and protect your property.


8. Modifications After Installation

After installation is complete:

Any additional work or changes requested will be charged separately.

We do not refund or alter items that fit correctly but no longer suit the client’s preference.

All furniture is fully inspected before considered complete.


9. Cancellations & Refunds

Because our furniture is custom made, the following applies:

Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or production has begun.

If the client cancels after production starts, additional charges may apply.

If we must cancel due to exceptional circumstances, a full refund of any deposit will be provided.


10. Warranty & Aftercare

We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty covering:

Loose fittings

Alignment issues

Installation faults

The warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse or neglect

Water damage

Wear and tear

Alterations by third parties

11. Materials, Colours & Finishes

Final colours, textures, and materials may vary slightly from samples due to natural variations or manufacturer changes.

We do not guarantee an exact colour match to existing furniture unless agreed beforehand.


12. Privacy & Data Protection

We only collect information required to:

Process orders

Communicate with customers

Arrange installation

13. Liability

Bear Brothers Furniture is not liable for:

Damage caused by hidden pipes, wiring, or structural issues not disclosed by the client.

Delays caused by suppliers, weather conditions, illness, or unforeseen events.

Damage resulting from improper use of installed furniture.

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.


14. Use of Website & Content

All content, text, images, and materials on this website are owned by Bear Bro Carpentry LTD.
You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written consent.


15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law.
Any disputes will be handled in UK courts.
